Pesky calls: Trai to launch a digital consent authorisation platform soon
The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai) will launch a digital consent authorisation (DCA) platform in the next two-three months to accelerate the process of getting consumer consent on the distributed ledger technology platform (DLT) mandated by the regulator to stem pesky calls and messages.



fake caller, they will disconnect the call after 15-20 sec max.
but will never say a word.
not safe to pick up these kind of calls. i have received call from the same no. 5-6 times in last week.
now avoiding their calls with the same no.
It is better to keep the phone on speaker upon answering it and not to speak a word till you hear something from the other end. Mostly it would be a muted call.
Notice this - They usually cut the call after 11 seconds.
I am not sure if someone/anyone can get any information about us or our handset through just our voice. I just don't know that.
But the reason from such calls remains a mystery.
I feel its always best to wait for the caller to speak first, if its an unknown number.
