Yes, I have first received a message with transaction related to my card and then a call. He has asked for the date of birth and address for blocking the card. Seems to be fraud. Be careful.

A guy called and said that my bank card is blocked and he needs the date of birth and full address to unblock my card, this happened on a sunday and he also knew about previous transactions. called me thrice asking if it was unblocked. on tuesday i called my bank and found out thet HDFC Customer care executives dont even work on sundays and they never call and ask for these details, they only send mails or messages asking us to change the details or complain about the unauthorised transaction. So its better to block this number and not answer the call.
